5 Homes That Sold For $900,000 Last Week

Updated: Jul 2, 2019

Thank you to those of you who have been following my weekly post of 5 homes that closed escrow last week. You may know I’m reporting on specific price ranges rather than focusing on a defined neighborhood or area. It’s been enlightening even for me to see the variety of homes that sell at various price points. This week I’m well into our luxury market by highlighting home sales at or pretty darn close to $900,000. Enjoy.

Reno / Lakeridge

List Price $878,000 / Sold Price $850,000

2130 Brooksboro

Listing info. Courtesy of Dickson Realty

This home consists of 4,235 SF, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a 3 Car Garage. Built in 1977 it’s been extensively remodeled and sited on a premium lot overlooking a pond. Despite the advanced age of many of the homes in Lakeridge, the very convenient location has never failed to attract high-end buyers. The home was on the market for 31 days.

Reno / South Meadows

List Price $940,000 / Sold Price $869.750

9910 Amienda

Listing info. courtesy of Remax Realty Affiliates

This single level home consists of 4241 SF, 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and 3 car garage. It was built in 2016 and offers a very contemporary, great-room floor plan with high-end fixtures. It’s surprising for some locals to see luxury homes closing in this neighborhood. Having sold one of these myself just last month I can understand the appeal. This home was on the market for 103 days.

Reno / North Valleys

List Price $510,000 / Sold Price $875,000

220 Mar Mac

Listing info. Courtesy of RCM Realty Group

This home consists of 2,667 SF, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 5 car garage and it was built in 1944. My first impression is that $875,000 just doesn’t go as far as it used to. A closer look reveals that this house has a 65 acre (likely sub-dividable) yard. No typo’s here, this property was subject to overbid in federal court. It was on the market for 347 days and I’m sure the listing broker is just glad it’s over.

Reno / Southwest

List Price $888,000 / Sold Price $888,000

1800 Solari

Listing info Courtesy of Dickson Realty

This home consists of 3668 SF, 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 car garage. Built in 1968 this is a classic SW Reno, hillside home offering great views of downtown. Remodeled in a very tasteful manner plus extensive, mature landscaping, this home has a broad range of appeal. It was on the market for 24 days

Reno / Fieldcreek Ranch

List Price $950,000 / Sold Price $950,000

1352 Wolf Run

Listing info courtesy of Sierra Sotheby’s

This home consists of 3376 SF, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a 4 car garage. It’s a single level home with updated fixtures and it’s in move-in condition. Located on the golf course, the landscape and backyard patio are quite distinctive. Built in 2000 this contemporary SW Suburban home was on the market for 64 days.

Keep in mind that the market times I’ve posted include days in escrow which proves that well priced homes sell quickly at virtually every price-point in our market. If you found this post interesting, take a look next week when I’ll be writing my final post in this series, 5 homes that sold for over $1,000,000. To search previous posts and price points start by visiting 5 homes that sold for $800,000. Until next week, Cheers!
